Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the seafront with smart rooms and a fantastic view. The service was helpful, especially during a stressful time. However, the dining experience was mediocre with limited options and delays. Overall, it was a perfect location for us.
The hotel had some ups and downs. The rooms were uncomfortably hot and cramped, but the service was friendly and efficient. The location was great, near the seafront and city center. Dining options were a bit hit and miss. Facilities were decent overall.
The hotel is wonderfully located right opposite the sea, offering a great view. The rooms, though located deep in the hotel basement, are pet-friendly and include breakfast in the price. However, the noise from the water pump when using the shower can be quite loud.
The hotel provided a mix of experiences. The rooms were clean and tidy with a lovely big bed, but the TV didn't work initially. Although we received vouchers for WiFi access, the internet was not safe. The lower floor had some noise issues from the lifts, and our room, despite being paid for with a window, only offered views of a fire escape. The heating/ventilation fan was noisy, and the decor was outdated. The car park also incurred an additional fee. The staff were good, but the overall experience did not meet the expected four-star standard.
The hotel had an amazing view during my 4-day break, and the extra bed was a nice addition. However, the room we specifically paid extra for had a disappointing window view of the fire escape, limited ventilation, and a noisy heating system. The room felt hot, stuffy, and had outdated decor, far from a four-star standard, more like a two-star at best. Even the car park came at an additional cost of £8 per night, adding to the expenses.
